We all have things - we all own physical objects separate from ourselves. Even something as simple as a watch. Or your pants. Or a door key.
We all want or need things - another tube of toothpaste, a pen that writes really nicely, a pot plant.
We all have to manage our things - washing them, storing them, refilling them, replacing them, wading through them to get to our bed.
Isn't that fascinating? We don't need many things to survive (I'm not counting food as things). But the staggering majority of us have more things than we can count. Which means we have stuff.
What is really fascinating, is how we relate to those things. Some of them we may love, some we may hate, some we don't even notice. But we have a relationship with every single one of them....
